The Whipper

I am proud to be a member of The Whipper family.

The Whipper promises to be a very useful tool for coaches and climbers alike. The first climbing-specific fitness tracker it will sync to your mobile device via a free app and provide you with information regarding your movement through space, speed, pacing, falls, how often you are climbing and will also allow keeping track of grades climbed etc.

In addition proprietary algorithms will give you feedback on your climbing, suggesting ways in which you can train to improve!

Oh the irony! Here I am excited about a device that could make me obsolete. First post, here we are, don't use me, use this.

That's the whole point of my practice though. If I can assist you to know how to do the things you can and should know, then you will also know when you can and should seek feedback.

Get on board early with The Whipper, trust me, this device is going to shape the sport of climbing and drag it into the 21st Century!

Page Statement

The best way to begin is to define I suppose.

Am not an expert.

You are the expert.

I simply have been around the coaching game for quite a long time, in many different sports.

I have plenty of techniques, ideas, methods. The way to learn is to share the way to teach is to listen.

There is no right path. No two athletes have taken the same road, however many have found success - however they may define that - many more have found happiness. Success does not guarantee happiness. My plan is to provide the reader with as many options as possible so they can discover their own ideal path.

What might work. What has worked for some. Whether it works for you is up to you to find out.

Never believe anyone who claims to know the answers for you. Only you know you.

I hope you find some of the information here useful.
